Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to make the most of my semester abroad and see as much of Europe (particularly Spain) as I can
ABOUT ME
I´m Molly, a 20 year old college student from Philadelphia. I study in Chicago, but am spending part of this year in Spain - three months in Toledo and three in Barcelona.
I´m eager to see as much as I can while I´m here - both in Spain and in the rest of Europe.
I love to travel, and have done a good amount of it with my family growing up. I´ve always wished that I had a better way to meet local people while traveling and am so happy to have found this solution!
PHILOSOPHY
I try to do things that make me happy and expand my experience of the world. I think making connections with people is the most interesting and fulfilling part of the human experience
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I´m currently studying abroad and hope to couchsurf on weekends and school breaks so I can see as much as I can while I´m in Europe.
When I return to the states I will definitely offer my couch when I can.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am new to the world of couchsurfing, but friends who have surfed have all had wonderful experiences, so I´m excited to start!

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, anything Mel Brooks has had involvement in (especially "Robin Hood: Men in Tights"), The Dead Poets Society
Books: Harry Potter, The Poisonwood Bible, A Prayer for Owen Meaney, The Phantom Tollbooth, The Brothers Kamarazov
Music: This is constantly changing, but currently I'm getting excited for the new Cobra Starship record (I love "Guilty Pleasure", the single the just released off it), and am really getting into Muse, especially "Black Holes and Revelations"
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I have ever seen was in Cambodia: I visited Ankor Wat and Ankor Thom and walking through the untouched temple - the one temple that hasn´t been restored and is still in the state of nature reclaiming it - was the most amazing experience. These enormous trees had grown right through the walls and become part of them. It was the kind of sight no photograph can really capture, because being surrounded by this temple overgrown with trees had a sense of majesty and antiquity that I cannot really put into words...
