ABOUT ME

four years to be a journalist in Hong Kong, quitted from my job because I hope to explore the new world I have never been before.

I love meeting people and traveling, especially in Asian countries- You will always meet soemthing which surprise you. I specifically love hiking/backpacking, in which I think would meet other travellers who can introduce me to look for new places and new things.

Life is like travelling, full of surprise.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first two hosts are from Germany and they are fantastic - it's my first time in Europe as well as couchsurfing. We have cooked for each other, shared our lives, funny or stupid things in our lives with each other - I missed the days with them!

My host in Oxford is a very sincere gentlemen and took care of me. His experience in travelling fascinates me and he's my "model" - I am learning how to be a good surfer in Europe and be sincere to all European friends I met. :)

Interests

Reading books - only the paper books, not the electric books. E-books are not my cup of tea.
Cooking - my new habbit. I seldom went into the kitchen since I worked for long hours when I was a journalist. Hope to cook tasty food with you - but remember that I have a very low tolerance with spicy food. SORRY..

But you know I am planning to India. I don't know what will happen to my tongue after tasting the Indian curry...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have done so many amzing things in the past few years, but one of the highlight was doing voltra (voluntary + travel) in Camboida in 2007. In the 15-day trip, one of the jobs was to take care of ADIS children in Siem Reap.

Teach, Learn, Share

Hope to share the Chinsese culture and unique Hong Kong culture with anyone I met in couchsuring. Hope to learn the similarities between Chinese and European people
