Overview
About Me
I am a traveler, entrepreneur, collaborator, writer, and social worker. Currently, I am leading an Innovation and Incubation Centre at one of the biggest B-Schools in India. Previously, I was the founder of You and India, co-founder of Writopedia, and co-founder of vouch4couch.com. Meeting people from different backgrounds and diversity is one of my keen interests and I enjoy it. Having learned German (15 years ago), and a bit of French...my interaction with different cultures started when I went to Dijon-France for one semester during my MBA. After being hosted by a few good people in Europe, I am determined to do the same here in India.
Life Update1: Currently, I have taken a sabbatical from my startups and I am working as a CEO at a Technology Incubator in Mumbai.
Life update 2: I have moved back to Delhi NCR Region. Currently, I am leading a business Incubation Centre at one of the leading Business Schools.
Biggest Life Update: My profile till 2022 was about myself only. However, I got married in 2023 and now we are a couple-host here.
PHILOSOPHY
be happy and try to make others happy, it will indeed make you happier.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I came to know about CS in Europe while studying in Dijon, France. I used CS for surfing in Bern, Strasbourg, Brussels, and Nice. It was amazing. Now I offer my place to surfers in Delhi. I have hosted a few people and met a few others (when I could not host). I am open to hosting anyone who does not consider CS just as a free hostel.
Feel free to ask me for hosting in Ghaziabad (Delhi NCR)
P.S: Ghaziabad is one of the cities within the Delhi Region. So I am not sure if many of you would love to be hosted this far away from the city Centre. My home is 60 KM from Delhi Airport and 30-40 KM from major travel spots.
However, we are open to hosting if that is ok with you :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

You learn a lot about a culture through these activities, Even a meet-up or a group activity is great. Now I am ready to host people. And whoever I have hosted had been a good Guest and a good sharing experience :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In Dec. 2014, I participated in Jagriti Yatra-14. This is a special train for 450 budding entrepreneurs and change makers from India who travel for 15 days in one train covering 12 places across India while moving 8000 Kilometers. During this trip, in each city, we met exceptional entrepreneurs from India in different fields. We slept, ate, and took a bath on the train itself. It was one of the best travel trips for me and the interaction with 450 people is simply amazing. The scarcity of resources on the train but still managing to spend 15 days so easily would always remain close to my heart.
Teach, Learn, Share
Learn: Open to many exciting things from your country- food, some card game/trick, dance moves, interesting facts people are not aware of, French, German :)
Teach: Bollywood dance, Dip you in Indian Cultural Enigma, How to do a startup :), Hindi
Share: Indian food prepared by me. My stories and they are quite interesting
