We are a French couple, Chanel (25) and Thibaut (24) travelling in Australia since a bit more than one year with our 4WD. We are open-minded, we love the simple things and we love adventure! We are crazy about the Australian wildlife!

Since we are in Australia, we travelled the south coast from Melbourne to Perth, the west coast to Exmouth, the north to Darwin and then Cairns.
Beginning of January we started again the roadtrip from Cape Tribulation and the original plan was to go to Tasmania. We find good jobs in Sydney that's why we want now to settle here.

Meeting new people is the main reason why we register on Couchsurfing. We only had one Cs experience, so it's maybe hard for you to "judge" us. We had two volunteer experiences (HelpX), one on an island near Melbourne in a guest house, and the second one was for a sheep farmer in South Australia. We loved these two experiences because it was all new for us, it allowed us to meet local, improve our english and discover the Aussie lifestyle.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people and discover cities with a local point of view. We were always curious about Couchsurfing. We are now on the member side, but as soon as we get a flat we will be host for sure :)

Interests

Listening some music, healthy cooking, discovering new countries, planning our next trip :)
We love simple things, natural sceneries, watching sunsets... We also learn to love camping since we are in Australia! We live in our 4WD so we start to be pros ;) Chanel starts yoga recently and will be happy to find someone who can help her to improve herself.

Movies: comedy, drama, fiction science, true stories. We loved Into the wild, Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, Inglorious Basterds, Intouchables, Star Wars...

Books: 1984, Malala, Marching powder, L'enfer c'est les autres...

We love to discover new music, books and movies, we always preferred to be advised by people we met!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimming with sharks, manta rays, crocs ... and climb one of the highest tree of the world! And 6 amazing months doing our road trip around australia :)
