Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I really enjoy couchsurfing, I have met so many friendly and sweet host! I believe it is more than having a couch for the night. I feel that through couchsurfing, I can meet people from different countries and through conversations with them, see the world a little better and sometimes, maybe clearer.

Intereses

Sport! I'm currently training for Track and Field sprints events. I play basketball, touch rugby, skating, soccer, softball, netball and the list goes on. I really love galaxies haha. I enjoy chilling with a guitar / ukelele and jam to some of the popular songs. I love cooking too, exclude the washing part, haha. It would be great if I could learn a dish or two from my short stay with you in your house.

Música, películas y libros

I don't particularly have favourite music I just don't appreciate heavy metal and music with too much vulgarities. Other than that, I pretty much enjoy songs on the radio or the popular charts. I love action packed, romance, adventurous movies, absolutely not a fan of horror at all. As for books, haven't done much reading lately, let's just keep it that way for the moment.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I'm going to skydive in Prague on Oct 8 and I'm SOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!! I can't wait to share my experience with those adventurous people. Another crazy thing that I've done is climbing/trekking Mt. Rysy in Zakopane, Poland. We chose to climb on the more difficult and steep path, even though reviews off the net told us that the climb would have been smoother in the Slovakia side. Well, risks were taken and yes, like they mentioned, although the trail to the top from the Poland side was shorter, it was much much steeper. But nevertheless, we made it up 2000+m and the view was breathtaking, we were in the midst of clouds. Well I almost died coming down, advice to those people climbing mountain with no prior experience, it would be good to have proper climbing shoes, or at least shoes with a better grip, sufficient food and water to snack on, wet weather attire (it drizzled a little during our climb) and if you have more funds to spare, climbing sticks would help A LOT.

I can teach you some basic Chinese, Cantonese, Thai and Korean. If you love cooking, I can even share with you some recipes for famous dishes in Singapore! Of course, I would love to learn a simple dish from your country too! Please share with me your culture, experiences and teach me some basic conversational tips in your language! I can share with my new European friends a special fruit that I bought all the way from Asia, they call it King of all Fruit - Durian (not for the faint-hearted). My crazy experiences in other countries, my culture and interesting stories.

I can share my culture and travelling experiences. Optimism and cheerfulness. If I have time and the ingredients needed, yes, food! I'll try to cook some traditional Singaporean or Chinese family dishes.
