COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friends and I couchsurfed for the first time in New York in 2007. It was a great experience and really encouraged me to get more active. I also got a chance to host a group of Canadians another time (wasn't from CS -- was from another online site) and I had such a blast with them that my friends and I ended up crashing at their place when we visited Toronto! I continue to occasionally host couchsurfers when time permits.

I have traveled internationally and occasionally have met up with the local CS groups (such as Bangkok CS, Rome CS, Prague CS and more) and it has always been very welcoming and fun.
