Overview
About Me
Hi! ✋, my name is Changiz Munir. I am from Aibak, Samangan, Afghanistan. I am a high school senior and also working as a professional teacher of Computer and Graphic Design at the Adult learning Center Education Hub.
I enjoy learning and sharing knowledge, especially in languages. I can speak and help with translation in several languages including Turkish, Dari, Farsi, Pashto, Uzbek, English, and more. I am also happy to guide travelers in Afghanistan, especially in Samangan and Mazar-e-Sharif (Balkh).
My main interest is football — I love playing it and I also have a lot of knowledge about the sport. As a person, I am social, calm, friendly, and always ready to help others.
The reason I joined Couchsurfing is to meet people from different parts of the world, learn about their cultures, and support them in traveling in Afghanistan. I would be happy to host guests, show them my city, and share Afghan hospitality. 🙂
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing because I love meeting people from around the world and learning about different cultures. I want to support travelers who visit Afghanistan, guide them in Samangan, Mazar-e-Sharif, and other provinces, and show them Afghan hospitality. For me, Couchsurfing is not only about hosting but also about building friendships, exchanging knowledge, and sharing unique experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy listening to different types of music, from Afghan traditional songs to international pop. Music helps me connect with cultures and relax after a busy day.
When it comes to movies, I like inspirational and adventure films, as well as football-related documentaries since I am very passionate about the sport.
For books, I love reading about history, culture, and self-improvement. I also enjoy world literature. Some of my favorite authors are Che Guevara, Paulo Coelho, and Brian Tracy, along with other international writers whose works inspire me to think differently and grow.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I have done is teaching and guiding people in computer and graphic design at the Adult Education Institute in Samangan. I have helped many students develop new skills, and it feels incredible to see them succeed. I also work on global platforms, helping people from around the world with translation, design, and other skills. Additionally, I enjoy guiding travelers around my city and other provinces, showing them Afghan culture, and making their journey memorable.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love teaching computer skills, graphic design, and multiple languages to my students at the Adult Education Institute in Samangan, as well as to travelers who visit Afghanistan. Helping others gain new knowledge and skills is very rewarding for me.
I enjoy learning from people around the world, discovering their cultures, experiences, and perspectives. Every new person I meet brings a chance to understand the world better and expand my own knowledge.
I also love to share my experiences, guide travelers in my city and other provinces, show them Afghan culture, and help them feel comfortable and welcome. Couchsurfing gives me a wonderful opportunity to connect, teach, learn, and share in a meaningful way with people from all corners of the globe.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my knowledge of computer skills, graphic design, and languages with hosts and their guests. I can also help with translation and communication in several languages including Turkish, Dari, Farsi, Pashto, Uzbek, and English.
Beyond skills, I love sharing culture, stories, and experiences from Afghanistan. I can guide hosts and their guests in exploring my city, Samangan, and other provinces like Mazar-e-Sharif (Balkh), showing them local traditions, food, and customs.
I am always happy to offer help, friendship, and support, and I enjoy creating a warm and welcoming environment for everyone I meet.
