About Me

Hello, I'm Ya-Ting from Taiwan. I'm open-minded and easygoing. I'd like to meet people from different countries, exchanging ideas. I was a volunteer of International Office in my university which gives me a great opportunity to meet cool people. Moreover, I spent my free time helping exchange students to learn Chinese.

Interests

I love traveling. Mark Twain said," Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." In the summer vacation in 2013, my friend and I traveled along western part of Taiwan. In 2014, I went alone to Hualien working holiday. During traveling, it's wonderful to meet other travelers and locals. Moreover, I have time for myself, pondering, reflecting, learning and gaining self-understanding.

I love watching movies. My favorite movies:Billy Elliot, The Shawshank Redemption, The Holiday, Django Unchained, Dead Poets Society, Rent, Brave New World...
