About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm studying at Malmö högskola to become a Spanish and Textile Crafts teacher for kids 8-12 years old. And I'm working part time with the latter subject at a School in Stehag. AND I'm studying Textile Craft at the University of Umeå :) And yes: this is totally stressing me out. Like Bilbo Baggins i feel like too little butter on too much bread. But will hopefully land on both feet :)
ABOUT ME
I'm a down to earth kind of person. I love laughing and dancing and doing stupid crazy stuff but I can also enjoy just sitting at home painting by myself, listening to a good record.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I used CF a lot while travelling in Central America in 2012. Since then I'm sad to say I've barely used it. But now, since I'm but a poor student and the travels to the north slowly eats a whole in my pocket, I see fit to resurrect this fantastic way of meeting people and experiencing new places!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I thought it was GREAT to travel with CS in Mexico. I meat a lot of good people that time. Grateful for the way they took me in and showed me a glimpse of their lives.
Interests
I love: singing, painting, sowing, travelling, playing guitar, bathing in the ocean from big rocks, learning new languages, living life with as little money as possible, eco food, sustainable living, cooking, eating good food, working with my body etc.

Music, Movies, and Books
Yes please. Love movies. Good movie tips are: Coffea and Cigarettes, Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, In the cut (anything by Jane Campion really) etc. If you want music tips you should definately look up: Arcade fire, The tallest man on earth, Nina Simone, Hajen, First aid kit.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I fucking finished my bachelor thesis, writing it in Spanish. That was a beast...
The toughest thing I've ever done though, was to bike up a very tall mountain close to Montecorto in the south of Spain, called Puerto del Boyar. Apparently also called The Beast. A lot of beast so.
But that's not amazing for other people... It's amazing to be kind!
So I guess the most amazing thing I've done so far was when a friend was feeling totally depressed and I vouched to take care of her (and did) for as long as she needed.
And then that time when there were people walking in to Sweden, fleeing the terrors in Syria and I helped out at Kontrapunk (the cultural centre in Malmö working for a better world) every Thursday, cooking food for those who chose to stay the night, before continuing up north to seek asylum.
And working with the kids. That also warms my heart and feels meaningful.
