我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

To surf!

I've been traveling on and off for five years, I can't believe I haven't couch surfed until now.

I've learned from other Couchsurfers, that couch surfing is truly about discovering a new place through the eyes of the locals, having experiences you wouldn't have otherwise, and human connections. This is how I try to travel, so now I will have a much more effective way to do this.

I'm quite nomadic for now, but once I have a more permanent place, I hope to be able to do some hosting myself.

Movies (In no particular order): Gladiator, Braveheart, While You Were Sleeping, Fight Club, Life is Beautiful, Charade, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Out of Africa, Interstellar, Crazy Stupid Love, The Sound of Music, City of God, It's a Wonderful Life, Casablanca

Music: I'm learning to identify the music I want to listen to according to my mood. Some current and past favorites- Portugal. The Man, Avett Brothers, Avicii, Moby, The Beatles, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake

Books: I'm reading "Outliers" by Malcolm Gladwell and "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle, right now.

I just popped my HASHing cherry. That was one of the coolest experiences of my life. If you don't know what HASHing is, look it up!

I was also apart of a helicopter rescue in the Angeles National Forest in California. Ask me about it :)
