Overview
About Me
I'm sociable and curious about people, places and cultures. I like to welcome and be welcomed. I walk, I dance, I paint, I write. I also like to travel both in cities and in the middle of nature.
I like to show people around my city: Toulouse, and its surroundings too, depending on the time I have. I like to read, to go to the theater, to the cinema, in guinguettes in summer. And I also have a beautiful vegetable garden, a little outside the city, where I like to farm, see my vegetables grow and read in the shade of the arbor.
I have simple pleasures: cooking good food (and eating it too of course!), meeting, exchanging, sharing, recharging m'y batteries in nature, preferably by walking, and taking the time to breathe, think and feel.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For now I want to welcome. Then I would like to be welcomed.
Why this mode of exchange? because meeting native people seems more fun to me than going to a hotel. It's a way to discover more authentic ways of life, to eat and visit local, to share nice moments.
It was my daughter who told me about it and advised me to sign up. She thinks I have the profile. It's up to you to come and see!

Music, Movies, and Books
I appreciate most musical styles, and cinematographic or literary genres.
I'm going to talk about what I can't stand: horror or too violent movies or books, and metal as a musical genre.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Only one ?
The latest is the two weeks of walking that I have just completed on the Camino de Santiago, from Le Puy-en-Velay to Conques. The most difficult thing was to stop to go back to work. Everything else was a wonderful parenthesis, made up of encounters and sharing, walking alone in nature, incredible landscapes and good local dishes. Two weeks of stripping down and simplicity, bag on your back and nose to the wind.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A good dinner based on good products from my garden, a guided and commented tour of Toulouse day and night, a dancing evening (depending on the day or the season or the tastes of the guests), laughter and good humor, If friends are available, a friendly meeting. And if you have time, a nice walk in nature or in key sites around Toulouse.
