Overview
About Me
I am a bachelor student in History at the University of Utrecht. I am idealistic and ambitious, enthusiastic, and last, but definitely not least, political interested and active. I am a firm believer of the idea that every individual can make a difference and that small things can have great impact.
The conviction that an individual can make a difference in political decision-making is perfect to combine with the study history. It is a great way to develop myself in all the aspects that I think are important to an individual: critical, nuanced and versatile. Therefore, I would like to describe myself as an extremely idealistic person, especially concerning animal welfare and sustainability. I believe that -even though it sounds as a cliché- every person can make the world a better place. When everyone takes responsibility for the environment I firmly believe that one is able to change the world. I stick to my ideals and I try to explain to other young people that it is important to dream and to be aware of their power as an individual.
