Since I'm Living together with my boyfriend Joost I will just describe us both :)

My name is Chantal, I'm 26 years old. As people describe me I'm fun, crazy, happy, but also a beaken to talk to who can give a refreshing view to problems you have.recently graduated and finding out what to do next. I'm a real extrovert. I love Joost, being around people, go on adventures, see new things, nice coffee places, cultural events and kook especially Italian food.

Joost is 25 years old. He is the more technical and rational of the two of us :) He just quit his study media technology to expand his own company. He builds dashboards and gives lectures about the use of personal data such as steps and heartrate to improve peoples health on a group level. He loves me, his macbook, building technical stuff and go on insanely long hikes ones a year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I came back from sziget festival in budapest I went with 2 friens of my to vienna. We thought we would find a hostel in no time but after 4 hours of searching later we still had no place to sleep. so we asked a girl on the street if she knew a hostel. she said why don't you sleep at our house we have couchsurfers all the time so we did! and it was amazing her roommate took us in to town to a great english pub with his friends and we had an amazing evening. that was the moment I decided that when I had my own room again I would offer others the same!

Interests

I love tho drink wine at the teracce on warm summer nights. My friends and I always have crazy things to do and it's always lots of fun. And of course I love chocolate, dancing, chickflicks and all the things every girl loves.Besides that I like theatre,going to the movies and expand my horizon.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite movie is the last holiday and all movies that are about concerning your fear and be who you want to be. Currently I'm reading the book flow about how you can perceive happiness.

Joost has no idea what his favorite movie is, he much rather prefers science fiction books especially: Asimov, Gregory Benford and Iain M. Banks.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing holidays was sziget. it's just a place everybody get space to be who they are and grow a lilte bit closer to who they want to be. every where you look someting amazing happens and everybody is your friend. Besides that I have been too India for two months. That was a crazy adventure! going far beyond my comfort zone.

Joost has walked a month strait trough the netherlands from the north to the south and the year after from the east to the west. Meeting all kinds of people and have al kinds of crazy adventures including a stroler, you should ask him yourself. Besides that he has been to San Fransisco to attend the Quantified Self conference which accounts for one of the amazing things he has done.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've wrote an thesis about changemakers the people who found there passion and fight for a better world. So I do know a lot about that. I don't know what else we will have to find out :)
