I fell in love with the free and open community I found in Zambia and I feel like couch-surfing has the same kind of vibe. I couchsurfed with a friend in Iceland for the first time in May 2015 and I really like getting to know the host and meeting new people.

I climbed Lion's Head mountain in Cape Town, South Africa to see the last super moon of 2014. I'm terrified of heights, but I love moon gazing more than I fear heights. Coming down with only the light of the moon and the light from everyone's head lamps was definitely scary, though!
