I'm from Harbin, China ("ice city" in 'Manchuria'). Having lived in China, Canada, Japan, and Sweden, I am living in the Netherlands from Sep. 2018. I am a Master student majoring in Sustainable Energy Technology and a tech nerd (I get excited to talk or hear about the newest technologies). I also love design and art and like to picture the countries as big billboards that advertising different propaganda, in the end, it's just about which one is the most beautiful one.

My vibe:
I love life. When I say it, I meant it. I want to share not stories, but myself with you. I want to break the cultural, national, racial stereotype of us through our experiences together. It takes little effort to judge a person from a book but much more courage to learn one face-to-face. I do think the world will be a much better place if we can just sit down and appreciate each other in the eyes. Also, I believe 'when you met a person, a part of you will live in this person.' So meeting many people makes me live LONGER which is awesome.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined when I wanted to have random experiences and make new friends. This didn't change. But now I also think at Couchsurfing, it is much easier to meet open-minded people. It is a very effective platform when you want to have a deep (intellectual) connection with another person.
