About Me

ABOUT ME

Well, I'm not really at ease to describe myself on the Web. I'm very curious and willing to talk and share points of view, but rather in face-to-face than on my CS profile.
Let's try, though;
I'm quite talkative, sociable, I can forget about everything else when I start talking with people. I love to meet people from, let's say, "another world" than mine, even in Paris there are so many different people that you can discover other worlds, totally different to yours, in your own city.
I like to dream, to play music. Music and speech are so important to me because they embody life, music is something which makes me feel alive. I play the cello and I love playing chamber music. I also love listening to music.
I am from Paris, and I am living between Paris' suburb (Ermont, about 15 km from Paris) and Clermont-Ferrand, so it will probably be difficult for me to host you this year.

Music, Movies, and Books

Schubert's Impromptus. Bach. Shostakovich. Ravel, Debussy, Fauré.
Films: I've recently watched "Breaking the waves" by Lars von Triers and I just loved it. It a very beautiful movie.
Books: I've discovered a few months ago Yoko Ogawa's novels. She is a Japanese author. I loved them so much that I decided to learn Japanese language, with the insense dream of reading them in the original text one day...
I like a lot of music, books and movies, so I decided to quote only the most recent which struck me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

hmm..... well... The travel I probably remember the best is my travel to Siberia a few years ago... I swimmed in the Baikal lake (which is quite cold, though it was summer) and I remember a guy looking at me with jealousy because he didn't manage to get in the cold water! Very nice moment :-).

Countries I’ve Visited

Czech Republic, Italy, Japan, South Korea

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, Russian Federation, United Kingdom
