I'm a middle aged single dad living in Dallas, Texas, who would like to travel (may be even host travelers at some point). I prefer to take my kid with me on trips.
I'm mostly looking for people to show me around. I'm a Vegetarian - so, my diet is limited to veggie food and dairy products. No meat or eggs. It would help if I had a local friend who could point me to the right restaurants and such. :-)
If I were to host couchsurfers - I work a regular full time job and have a kid, so during the weekdays, only my evenings would be free.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to find local friends at the places that I visit. Given my special dietary needs of being a vegetarian, I figured it's easier with someone who knows the lay of the land, so to speak. And I would love advice on what to visit and sightsee.

Interests

I'm a musician. Most of my free time is spent practicing. I could show you a few chords on the guitar if you have one.
I have not traveled much in the last 7 years and I want to change that.
