CURRENT MISSION

I am travelling in Europe for 3-6 months, looking to settle in the UK or Western Europe. I'm sick of having the same old hostel experience of places - I really want to get underneath the surface of a place and see how people really live.

ABOUT ME

When I travel I'm up for virtually anything, the quirkier the better. I'm a very social person and love to connect with people from other cultures, especially Europeans.
My great love in life is writing, but music is also really important to me. I'm happy to sing along, play piano air strum the guitar until the early hours of the morning.
Although I am a social person I'm not really a party animal. I would love to experience Europe on a deeper level than bars and clubs. In saying that, I'm not an absolute killjoy and I love to go out into the night dancing and meeting people.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is that life is like a story. All of us feel tragedy, love, boredom, hatred and whatever else. We are each like characters in our own novel, struggling with different things. The important thing for me is to notice also that every day is like a chapter. There is always poetry and beauty in the world around, we just have to have our eyes open to it.

I am open-minded about participating in almost anything. Language barriers do not intimidate me, nor do new experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed a lot of couches in the USA and also a little in South America. When I look back on those travels it is usually the couchsurfing experiences that stand out as something to remember.
