My friends call me Charco.

I write and play music and I intend to make music for ever!!!! mwah ha ha ha!

PHILOSOPHY

Not to help someone is a meaningless way to live. Be generous I say.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first two couch surfers were two girls.... I know what you're thinking.... Girls have cooties, but these girls were cool. Samantha from Canada and Abbey from Australia. They were travelling around Ireland, which I know from experience is legit!! We had a fun time and I have hosted a good few people since then. It's been good craic sharing stories and introducing someone new into your life for a day or two! Fair play to couchsurfing!

Interests

Culture. Music. Art. Food. Language. People. Creativity. Laughing. Being silly. Cycling; Bicycle polo; Track cycling. And of course adeventures of the mind.

Music, Movies, and Books

I've liked alternative music for a while now, artists like bright eyes, broken social scene, the dirty projectors, fever ray, the knife and I like paul brady. Blues, old stuff like nico. Bits and bobs of world music and the likes. I've been writing a form of celtic/ trad rock in Irish the last while. I've been influenced a lot by Kila, but recently I've been listening mostly to john martyn. It's the best music I've heard so far.

My favouriet film is into the wild. Emile Hirsch is not a great actor but his endeavours within the film appealed to me. I intend on doing something similar in the future when I am finished with my degree.

Sometimes when I am not playing music (which is not often) I read a little bit. My favourite books are by John Stienbeck and Jean-Dominique Bauby; The wayward bus and the diving bell and the butterfly are pretty good. I've been reading some Pablo Cohelo recently too. The psychology books aren't always interesting unfortunately.
