ABOUT ME

Important Information: I travel with my cat Moxie most times. She is well travelled and is accustom to the lifestyle. I try to be as protective of her as possible when traveling. I need a minimum of a bathroom with a solid door which closes tightly where I can close her in if necessary. She is best at a house which cat secure as she is highly intelligent and loves exploring houses and will get into cupboards, can open some closets, explore bedsprings, and every nook and cranny she can find.

My ISP says I'm in CRAZY locations I may or may not be in any location my ISP reports.

I am:
Animal lover, photographer, former musician, humanist, naturalist, realist.

I once owned a pet hedgehog.
A poem I wrote in high school got published in a book.
Once upon a time owned/managed a coffee house.
My friends call me an English to English translator.
I like potatoes.
I IRC.
I once wore a Super Bowl ring.
My grandfather was friends with Al Capone and no one believed him until photographic evidence emerged two decades after his passing.
Watching the video of wingsuit flying made me cry.

I think these are cool:
Trains, rainbows, faraday cages, frogs, spiders, lightening, bats, sea dragons, bioluminescense.

I dislike:
Clowns.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm traveling around staying with friends and family and sometimes couchsurfing, I also participate in CS events.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I set out on the road about a year ago not knowing where the wind would take me. I stay with family, friends, couchsurfers, and camp. Along the way I have met the most awesome people, made great networking connections, and have seen some amazing scenery in the United States. I have even created a few photos along the way. I'm living my life long dream and I'm loving every moment.

Interests

I started teaching myself photography several years ago and am currently working at creating a name for myself, and collecting wonderful images along the way. All three I consider lifelong pursuits.
I also love that through photography I can explore most of my other interests.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all forms of music, mostly I rawk though.

I read mostly non-fiction, lots of sciencey type stuff. It takes a VERY intriguing novel to keep me reading, the only novel I can recall reading recently was Neuromancer. I'd rather do something or learn by doing then to read about it.

Movies are a great and a nice amount of time to indulge in a fantasy.
Some favorites movies are: Run Lola Run, Children of Men, Grandma's Boy, Hitchhiker's GTTG, Once, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Anything by Coen Brothers, Four Rooms, Kill Bill I.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteering for Special Olympics opened my eyes to the capabilities of people in a life changing way.
