About Me

Hi I am Harris, 27 years old and I am Greek. I studied in Scotland and after 3 years full of nice experiences I decided to move somewhere else. I now live in London which is an amazing city.

I am a social and friendly person with many interests and really enjoy meeting new people around the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and I have a life goal to visit all European countries before I turn 30 years old. So far I have been to over 20 countries.

Achieving that goal is a bit challenging and also having traveling buddies is even more. One of the main reasons why I am here is because I would like to meet people and make new friends and then have an excuse to visit more places.

Interests

I love traveling, cycling, walking around the city and exploring new areas, photography, playing the guitar, comedy, sci-fi, technology related topics, interesting and 'weird' sports (climbing, mountain bike) and always open to new things that I have never tried before.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love every single subcategory of rock (metal, punk, post, stoner, alternative) and also enjoy Drum n Bass and Ambient music.

Movies: I love sci-fi movies, action, comedy and documentaries. Of course being a computer guy in profession makes me more addicted to sci-fi movies (mega Star Wars fun, Marvel, DC, more space movies and also movies that need a lot of discussion after watching them)

Books: Ok I admit, the main category of books i read is about programming, different programming languages and new technologies. Apart from being a nerdy person I also enjoy psychological books that talk about everyday thing but from a different point of view.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At the end of my living in Scotland experience, I wanted to make a step forward that would change my life completely and managed to move to London.

The reasons why I am proud of this is because I got the job that I really wanted which makes me very happy everyday without being depressed on Mondays when I have to go to my office.

Also, it was the first time in my life that made such a big change that was 100% financially supported by me. Considering the fact that London is an expensive city and manage to have a nice life here is totally worth it.

Finally after the first time I visited London I saw many things that I loved about this city and told to my self that this is the next destination to live and the moment when I got the ticket was one of the happiest moments in my life.
