Обо мне
***OUT OF TOWN TIL AUGUST 2019***
I am a Tampa native and live with my husband Andrew and dog in the USF area. I work from home and enjoy reading, time in nature, staying active, learning about sustainability and making feeble attempts to live it out, discussing ideas, and meeting new people! I am currently agnostic, but am always gripped by faith and fascinated by the meanings we create. I am introverted and have a quieter personality, but I love to meet and connect with others. :)
I am interested in the earth, faith, humans and our stories, justice (social, economic, etc.), empathy, and alternative ways of living.
Что привело меня на Couchsurfing
My husband, Andrew, and I plan on taking advantage of my remote work and his summer off as a teacher by road tripping out to West USA. We love to explore and want to take advantage of our freedom to do so before we grow more roots (aka grow our family). We also enjoy meeting new people, and we believe it's important to max out our space when someone needs a place to stay. We look forward to hosting in our space when the time comes!

Музыка, кино и книги
I love all types of music, but I never stop listening to Iron & Wine, Andrew Bird, and Laura Marling. I listen to all the indie and indie folk. Throw in some 90s grunge, early 2000s alt rock, and that's my typical choice, but I enjoy almost every genre except pop country and some current pop in general.
My Neighbor Totoro, original English dub, is my favorite movie.
Too many books to list. Most influential have been Lord of the Rings trilogy, anything by Brene Brown, The Dynamics of Faith by Tillich, Tattoos on the Heart by Greg Boyle, East of Eden by Steinbeck, Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer
Классная вещь, которую я сделал(-а)
I saw the solar eclipse in totality in 2017!
Helped to run a drop in center for the homeless in my city. I wouldn't say it's "amazing" but it was the most difficult thing I've ever done and where most of my life lessons so far were learned.
Учу, учусь, делюсь опытом и информацией
I could share the touristy and not touristy parts of my city, depending on your preference. Tampa has a lot to offer.
I am always open to learning anything.
Чем я могу поделиться с хостами
We can share ourselves! I'm more reserved and introverted but I love to meet and know people in more personal settings. My husband is hilarious and extroverted so I can share his jokes and energy with you! We've got a fun board game collection and are always up for playing. I can also cook a decent meal and bake a delicious banana bread.
