Overview
About Me
I am a recent graduate from UC Santa Barbara with a degree in Global Studies, which left me with a passion for traveling. Now that I am done with school, I have the time to travel again and revisit the places I love and explore some new ones! I studied abroad in Paris last fall, and naturally it became my favorite city in the world— I fell in love.
I love experiencing new cultures, perspectives, and ways of living. I consider myself to be very open minded and respectful to each and every person’s opinions. I am an animal and environment loving pescetarian. I’m adventurous and live to explore and learn new things. I consider myself very dependable and caring, but sometimes I tend to be a bit shy at first. I’m also an avid wine and pizza enthusiast.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
While studying abroad in Paris last fall, I fell in love with the city and all of Western Europe— which is where I primarily traveled to. I’ve wanted more than anything to go back, as well as travel Eastern Europe and places I’ve yet to visit. As a graduation gift, I was given the opportunity to pursue my passion of traveling once again.
During my previous experiences traveling, I only had a few opportunities to explore from a local’s point of view. This time around, I’d like to get a fuller experience. I hope to meet and connect with new people and get to know cities from a local perspective. Couch surfing seems like the perfect opportunity for me to do so!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all different kinds of music- from indie to underground rap to deep house. I'd say my favorite is alternative/rock. A few of my favorite artists include Grimes, Atmosphere, and Caribou. My favorite bands are The Black Keys and Modest Mouse.
Some of my favorite movies are Inglorious Bastards, Pulp Fiction, and Blow, and typically I enjoy indie films. I also love a good comedy.
I am a huge fan of poetry- Charles Bukowski is my all time favorite poet. I'm also a huge fan of French literature.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I graduated college one year early and successfully crutched through my graduation ceremony after breaking my spine two weeks prior. It wasn’t easy!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm always trying to learn what I can from the people around me. I love learning about new cultures, and I truly believe that each experience in life is a new learning experience.
I can teach others Spanish, yoga, and how to cook an awesome vegetarian meal.
I hope to share laughter and memories with everyone that I meet.
