Overview
About Me
I teach English as a Second Language at an Elementary school, and my husband is studying Computer Science. We both love using our free summers to travel! He speaks French, and understands Tagalog. I have a little experience with a bunch of languages - Spanish, Lithuanian, French, and Polish.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I visit a city, I don't want to just sight-see, but to get to know the people and the culture. I like to make new friends and learn bits of languages. Many people have so generously hosted me all around the world that I look forward to hosting others as soon as I am able!

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen mostly to Indie or local bands, but I love to try new sounds. I don't watch many movies, but I like light-hearted books, such as those by Nick Hornby.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I partnered with local organizations to provide 1,000 female students in Kenya with reusable feminine hygiene products.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to cook and would love to swap recipes. Also, my husband and I have lived in Minneapolis for many years. We love the Twin Cities and can show you bike paths, cultural events, awesome places to eat, hiking trails, and more - We are into free things, so we know how to do Minneapolis on a budget!
What I Can Share with Hosts
As I said, I love to cook and would like to offer you a meal or two. I am an English language teacher, so I can help you practice if you'd like - in exchange, I hope that you will teach me about your language.
