Overview
About Me
48 year old speech-language therapist/logoped. I work with children.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel and to meet new people. It's been in my blood since my family lived in Tanzania when I was young. Travel truly is the best form of education. And... friends are only strangers waiting to be met. I'd much rather chat with a local at a cafe or pub than spend the day at a museum. I have met so many amazing people through CS.
Why I'm NOT on Couchsurfing... to hook-up, find a date or become "friends" with people I've never met or interacted with. Please note: If you have a brand new profile, you are not verified in any way, you have no references, and you send me a friend request or a message with no mention of any travel plans, I will decline and will likely report you.
Interests
Travel excites me! I also like hiking, golfing and paddle boarding in the summer. In the winter I enjoy skiing and snowshoeing. Photography is another interest - although I could use some instruction/practice!

What I Can Share with Hosts
Wifi!! :)
A big smile and a comfortable place to stay. Tips on what to see/do in the area. Perhaps some wine/beer/tea/coffee and a good conversation! If I'm able, I'd be happy to show you around.
