Overview
About Me
so - i'm a late bloomer as i've noticed most people here are quite young!
However, that will not stop me from trying this out!
I am a curious, vivacious, smart, funny, easy going mother of 3 sons.
I love to laugh and make others laugh, dance, hold conversations over a sweet cup of tea, a cocktail, bottle of wine or just soda-- and food :)
I love meeting people from all walks of life-- i'm petrified of snakes and rollercoaster rides.
My friends say i'm a spontaneous person, however, we all have our own story and journey so I look forward to hearing yours...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As i'm new to Couchsurfing, i hope it will be a great way to meet local people in the places I intend to visit. And i'm a firm believer in interacting and meeting locals is the best way to understand a culture.
Besides, i cannot think of a better way of the sharing the economy!

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a very open mind when it comes to my music-- however, 80's music just does it for me!
I listen to house, rnb, rock n roll- it depends on my mood really. From U2 to Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Salif Keita, 4 Non Blondes, the Parlotones to Rod Stewart, Tina Turner,Aretha...the list is endless.
Books- i'll read anything i lay my hands on.
One of my favourite books of all time has to be the Alchemist ( followed by the Bible) -- and one of my best lessons learnt from reading that book is to "Break the monotony"- and that is exactly why i'm here.
I've enjoyed and re-read, To Kill a Mockingbird, Cry the Beloved Country, the curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-tim, Life of Pi....once again the list is endless.
Movies-- hmmm, Jaws, Alice in Wonderland
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
had my sons and took up swimming lessons-- yep
