After my studies in chemistry engineering, and especially in leather industry, I've become a tannery manager in Besancon. I love this city (except it's too far from the sea), I've met great people, my work is really interesting, but I've something inside me stronger than that : I want to travel !

I've lived in Besançon for 3 years, and for 1 year with my boyfriend Cédric.
He's a mechanic, and he has the chance to combine his passion with his work.

We want lo leave our dream : travel all around the world. We'll start with NZ and Australia, to work there, discover this country by van and then travel around Asia, South America and all the countries we'll have the opportunity to visit. Our first flight is in october, that's why we can't offer you a room for the moment because we sold our house to travel. :)

No timing, no planning, we just want to do what we want to do, meet people, know how they live in their countries, and adapt our trip progressively.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

As I explained in my description, during our trip we want to meet people all around the world, so we're ready to help travellers also and offer them a place to stay.

After reading about couchsurfing and backpackers community, I think couchsurfing is a perfect way to combine a lot of advantages : meeting openminded people, learn and teach about different cultures, get some advices about the city, share the cook and so many things we can learn from each other. And of course, save some money to use it in something else. Indeed, when you're a backpacker and you don't have an unlimited budget, couchsurfing can help you in a financial aspect.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Music for me : rock/reggae/pop/salsa.
I'm an eclectic person so I'd be glad to discover different musics from everywhere. I think it's one of the best ways to learn about someone or some different culture.
If I have to choose 5 artists I'd say : Manu Chao, Oasis, Fauve, Bob Marley, Buena Vista Social Club.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

During my trip to India, I ate shark in Goa, and we named it "atomic shark". It was reaaaaaaaaally crazy... I remembered it for a long time....
But actually, all my trip was amazing : 3 weeks spent in a school as a volunteer, and 2 weeks for travelling in South of India.

For Cedric, he drove a moto up to 327 km/h !

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

Ready to teach mechanic knowledge, explain how to make leather. For the technical things we know.

Regarding hobbies, I've played tennis since I'm 6. So it would be a pleasure to play tennis with a couchsurfer :)

And for Cedric, do it yourself is his speciality. Everything handmade can attract him.

I'm always open to learn different languages, even some little words... also interested in discovering different songs, food. Because we both love music and cooking :)

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes

As I said, we love cooking.

So, sharing a meal, with good music, is the best way to learn to know someone.
And as we say in french, let's remake the world together !
Of course, with 2 or 3 beers, it can be easier :)

We can share some good addresses in the city, some places to go, restaurants, bars....It depends on what our host want :)
