Hi, I'm Charlene. I am currently on a career break and since January I have been travelling around Asia and Indonesia. Having taken a break back in the UK to replenish some bits and attend a wedding, I am taking a month to travel more of Bali/Indonesia and will finally be relocating to Australia, where I will be working and travelling further.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and have found that people who live in the places, have a much better insight of where to visit etc. than in hostels. In Australia especially I would like to experience living there rather than backpacking, so I can familiarise myself with the areas, find work and hopefully make some new friends/connections.

Interests

I am always up for trying new things. I love the sunshine, travelling, eating healthy (although I have a sweet tooth), exercise, BBQs, socialising with friends, meeting new people, having fun, partying and I have a love for tequila!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all music but house and techno are my leading favourites. Although I am flexible and will pretty much dance to anything.

Film wise, once again I am flexible. I love a good comedy or action film and I am also guilty of loving some kid's films i.e. Disney or dreamworks (don't judge me).
