About Me

In 2019 I moved to Hamburg in order to start my first full-time job as a Financial Analyst. I had travelled a lot as a student, lived abroad multiple times with the Erasmus program and studied International Business where there was a strong focus on the international part!
I absolutely loved it, but work + covid put a stop to it for a good two years.
Since March 2022, I am travelling again as much as I can. My home is also registered on the HomeExchange website, I love my apartment and I love to share it. Since I haven't used couchsurfing before (although registering 10 years ago... I know!), feel free to check out the reviews on HomeExchange https://www.homeexchange.com/homes/edit/2124390.

Since I am back getting to know different cities, I would love to not just change homes, but also get to know the city and its vibe. I am allowed to work from home almost all the time which is how I manage to now go around Europe again with a full time job. Therefore, most likely when hosting someone or someone hosting me, I will have to work during the day. This doesn't stop me from enjoying the city after work though of course!

I enjoy cooking for others a lot, therefore it would be my absolute pleasure as a guest to have a dinner together that I'd prepare for us and get to know you better.
I dance Bachata and Zouk, so if you're interested to come to a class with me (yes I am also doing that while traveling - it's a great way to meet locals and I love social dancing!) or just come and watch and see what social dancing is like, you're more than invited to join of course.
I'm fluent in English and German of course, Spanish I would say B2 so also not bad and I am now starting to learn Portuguese. I absolutely love language exchanges and have done many of them, so if you are interested in practising or learning some German, we can absolutely do that!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because I love to get to know a place, its people, culture and general vibe when traveling.

I am not counting countries or cities, I feel truly local in three different cities already (Berlin Barcelona and Hamburg) and I love to explore places for a while. At the moment I am most interested in coming to London since I am dating someone from London and the general idea is, that I might move there eventually. Therefore I would like to get to know the city - and I don't believe that that is easily done in an isolated hotel room!
You wonder could I not just stay with my boyfriend? Yes of course. I am mixing it up though, because I truly want to become local in London, not just a +1 ;)

Also, the flat I am living in in Hamburg is big enough for 2 people, only with a couch to offer but actually a very comfortable couch as I found out while separating from my ex who slept in the bedroom while I took the couch for some weeks ;-). I love having people over, therefore feel free to hit me up! Since most of my time is spend traveling at the moment, the likelihood that I am there might be slim, but whenever I am there I am happy to have guests over :)
