ABOUT ME

I am 35 years old born and raised in Puebla Mexico. My company transferred me 4 years ago to Los Angeles, California. I have traveled to 32+ countries because of work, sports and pleasure.
Cool facts about me.
SPORTS
- I am a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, I was part of the Mexican Olympic team training for Sydney 2000
- I got the first martial arts scholarship in my University and I started the Tae Kwon Do team there
- For 2 consecutive years I won the price of being the best athlete in my university (9,000 students)
WORK:
- We do Social Compliance Audits which means that we go to factories in 156 countries to assure that they comply with local labor, health and safety and environmental laws in order to be able to sell their products to the American brands
-We make sure that there is no Child labor, human trafficking, or any type of abuses to the factory workers including long work shifts and fair payment for their work.
- I have performed 700+ audits in 30 countries in 4 continents in different industries

ME:
- Love to go to concerts, art and photograph expositions
-It fascinates me to learn about different cultures
-The most important lessons that I have learn by traveling the world are: I have become a very patience person and tend not to judge what I do not understand (everyone else)
- My 2 nephew's and niece are the owners of my heart

PHILOSOPHY

I am a very lucky to have a job that not only pay my bills but it contributes to the world's development by assuring that the factory workers are treated with dignity and respect and paid correctly for the work they do. My philosophy is to help the less fortunate people with the work that I do.
I like challenging myself by getting out of my comfort zone. By viewing new customs, different ways of living is fantastic for the mind. It gives us a new perspective about life and especially our life, it can help us change some of our habits or even create new ones.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am quitting my "robotic life" to travel in Europe and I am hoping that I can meet very cool and open minded people during this journey.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My best friend is an active couchsufer and I have meet many of the people that stayed with her. I have also participated in a couple of parties here in Los Angeles and Barcelona
