About Me

(I’m long winded but I promise you if you make it through I will have made you laugh and if I didn’t we’re probably not the same kinda people)

Grew up on a 200 acre farm in the middle of Alabama, graduated high school early to get the fuck outta dodge, swam in college in Charleston, moved to NYC for a few years before a job took me to LA and then back to nyc.

Was in China in Feb 2020…. That was a wild ride!

I developed alopecia after covid and lost every hair on me in about 2 weeks last year but I’m learning to rock it!

I have an 8 year old baby doodle named porter, she’s with my mom in Alabama doing photo shoots while I travel(I wish I were joking - see photos for evidence 🙄)

I like dad jokes.

Oh… and I’m the oldest child of 10[just ask, it’s a wild story]

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
One time a boy I was seeing in Amsterdam surprised me with tickets to a Robyn concert and when she sang “Dancing on My Own” everyone in the audience danced and cried! It was the wildest example of mass emotion I’ve ever seen.
Wynn a Judd was my first concert.
I started a Spotify playlist titled, “Songs White People Sing in the Car”

Films:
I’m kinda a movie nerd but like an amateur one so like, if you’re a real one please don’t quiz me. I love everything from Beaches to Bond(I own every single one) but my favorite films are the ones that tell the stories of the slow moments in life. Somehow those seem most impactful to me? Show me a movie I’ve never seen, please!

Books:
Bridges of Madison County(sucker for cheesy novels), anything YA fiction, haven’t started prince Harry’s book yet but I’ll let you know the review.
When I read Joe Biden’s book about Beau I sobbed on the subway and an old lady gave me a tissue and a hug.
I read Brontë when I was 12 while probably also reading Harry Potter.(Vers King AF)
I like theatre but wish I were able to be more cerebral in processing artsy shit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

(how much can you know about someone after only ONE thing??)

Cliff dove off the walls of old Dubrovnik

Anonymously airdropped a dirty pic to about 62835293 people during pride in Madrid just to see a blind reaction.

Trapeze

Took my 83 year old boss to a club wearing a cutoff sweater that said, “DICK, I like that shit”(it was an accident and one hell of a story)

Been to a speakeasy in Hong Kong located in a haberdashery. You had to pull on an umbrella sitting in a stand for the wall to slide open.

One time in college my phone broke and while I was waiting for the replacement to come in the mail I borrowed an old one from one of my best girlfriends. That weekend I got real drunk and when I got home I decided on some risky business. Started scrolling through the contacts, as one does, to send out that “you up?” text… Saw a contact named “daddy”… “oh hi daddy, I can’t remember who you are but you’re saved in my phone as daddy… wanna come over and &$:&/%#*€\€”… you get the drift… my friend’s dad called her the next day to ask her about the strange and vulgar text he got from a phone number with our school’s area code…Parent’s weekend was never the same.
