I'm an entrepreneur and a Pisces, so things are always interesting and in a state of constant turmoil =) I run several businesses, including a corporate communications firm with clients in 30 states and 30 countries. I travel a lot. Almost exclusively by car. I love being on the open road, especially if I have a good travel partner.

I bought my home early in 2015, the same home that my grandfather built after coming home from World War II. After all those years, it has needed some TLC, which I decided to attempt on my own. I'm not the most handy, but have managed to do a fair amount, though there are still some (kitchen and bathroom) work in progresses.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I absolutely love the concept of the sharing economy. eBay, Uber, airbnb are all things that make the world a better place. Living alone and working primarily from home has the tendency to make one welcome encounters with new people.

If I found a good regional travel partner, that'd be awesome.
