I was born and raised in Hong Kong, lived through the transition from British rule to Chinese sovereignty. I moved to Toronto, Canada in my late teenage for university, and ended up staying for the past 10 years. I was fortunate enough to fit in many eventful trips during the years. Right now, I am working on my MA in human geography, and work part time as a bike mechanic.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I couchsurfed quite a bit back in 2009/10 when I drove from Toronto to Arizona, and then back, on my beat up 1994 Ford Tempo. Had an amazing experience, and met many interesting people. I haven't couchsurfed for a little while (and hence the new profile). Instead, I have been renting from AirBnb mostly when I go on trips. While great, I find AirBnb can be quite commercial at times, and often offers privacy instead of community. I miss meeting people that way. And here I am, back on couchsurfing!
