I'm a French student, studying engineering in the north of France (Lille) but I live in Paris the rest of the time.

In my formation after 3 years out of 5, we have to do what our university calls : Experiment. 

It's a trip wherever we want in the world which must be far from home so that we get out of our confort zone, we must also finance it ourselves, as so we work during our first 3 years studying, and pay for this trip. And finally it should be 3 months long! 

I like to meet new people, to travel and do sports. I love hiking and skiing! (mountains are so beautiful!) But I really enjoy any kind of sports that are done outdoors.

I love to cook and discover new types of food.

I'm open to new experiences and discover more about other cultures.

I like partying too, in the north of France we do that a lot!
I like Matsuri which are really different from what we find in France during festivals!

I can do a few magic tricks (card) too if you like magic! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In my studies we have a small brake of 3 months, and our university sends us to discover the world and develop ourselves.
In my case I've loved Japan for a while and wanted to discover it more. I'm even wondering if I want to live in Japan in the futur, and I'll probably get an answer during my trip here.

For my trip I would to only live with locals and discover a little bit of each regions of Japan and learn the Japanese way of life.

Interests

I'm a pretty skier, I always go to the Alps to ski but also hike there.

I love to learn how to cook new meals, and I love Japanese cooking (tonkatsu, okonomiyaki,....)

As I'm studying in an engineering school I get to use computers and I love that.

I like to craft things and repair anything that is broken. I like to build things with my hands! Which can go from tables to beers.

I like art, there's so many museums in Paris so I got to see a lot as a child and I still love to see any kinds of art.

I also enjoy reading mangas when I have the time.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love your name (kimi no na wa) it's probably one of my favorite Japanese movie, though I also like Miyazaki movie like princess mononoke. I also like any kind of movies. (Spy movies are nice too!)
I like every kind of music tough I'm not a huge fan of rap :/ however if the lyrics are interesting I don't mind!

I'm open to teach anything I know and that you want to learn, I'm also open to learn anything you teach me, especially about Japan! I would love to speak fluently Japanese!

We can do sports together if you want, party together too!
I can probably help you with your chores, teach you subject that are related to my studies or my passions.
I can also teach you about France, and give you advices if you ever want to go there. If we can find the ingredients I can probably cook French food for you! :)
