My name is Charles Marcil, I finished my third year majoring in Finance at John Molson School of Business (Concordia University) in Montreal, Canada.
I am an athletic, outdoorsy, charismatic, outgoing individual and I enjoy meeting people, trying new things, and experiencing new adventures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have lived in Canada all my life without experiencing all that Canada has to offer. I have only lived in Montreal and have visited Toronto and Vancouver. As this is my last summer before I finish University, I feel as though I should take the time to travel across Canada before graduation and embarking upon a career.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I have done in my life was participating in the Quebec Provincial Alpine Skiing Championships. I have skied for 19 years of my life, competed for 10 of those years and taught for 5 years as a Canadian certified level 2 coach. While competing and teaching, I have met friends and gained experiences that will remain with me for life.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teaching wise, I have assisted younger students by offering them academic help and at the same time, taught a wide variety of sports. I enjoy sharing my personal experiences that i have gained throughout my life. There is much of the world that i have yet to see and experience. I have plans in the future to travel to Europe and other parts of the world next year and would love to learn more about different cultures and ways of life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Having lived in Montreal for 22 years, I have gotten to know the city fairly well. I have seen most of Montreal and can share advice and my experiences about where to go and what to see in this great city.
On top of that, I have spent my summers in Muskoka Ontario, and would be delighted to give travel advice and ideas about places there to see, as well.
