About Me

Hello! This profile is for myself and my wife, Jennifer. We are brand new to Couchsurfing but are excited to try something new! We are currently located just outside of Boston, with access to the city via public transit, and moved to the area in 2013 from New Mexico (USA). We have 4 pets that we adore - 2 cats and 2 dogs. Charlie is a PhD student and will be graduating with a degree in chemistry this coming May. Jennifer is a veterinary technician and loves animals and learning new languages! We enjoy traveling and exploring new places in the world, though have spent much of our vacation time visiting the United States and Europe.

When not traveling we are usually home-bodies, but would be happy to offer suggestions of things to do/see in the area and restaurants to eat at.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are passionate about exploring new places and learning about cultures different than our own. Although we travel frequently, we generally keep to ourselves and have minimal interaction with locals. We are looking to step out of our comfort zone because we have come to the realization that the best way to learn and embrace new cultures is to meet new people! Additionally, we would like to help others out by offering a place to stay near Boston for short periods of time.
