I once took a road trip from California to NYC and couch surfed the entire way. It was an incredible experience. (I just wish I didn’t have to create a new CS account since I forgot my password).

Swam in the rare bioluminescent waters of Puerto Rico at midnight… a beautiful experience.

I’ve also tried a medicine called ayahuasca with 'shamans' (medicine men) from Colombia.
