Overview
About Me
I grew up on a farm in Chehalis, WA. I received my BA from Brigham Young University (Provo, UT) in anthropology with an archaeology emphasis. I'm now finishing my MA from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Fort Worth, TX) in archaeology and biblical studies. I've been accepted to the University of Chicago's PhD program in Near Eastern languages and civilizations with an archaeology emphasis. I'm the youngest of five children. I've cumulatively spent a year, or so, in Israel as a student and for archaeology related projects alike (digging/research). So far, I've worked on archaeology-related projects in the US (Great Basin, Utah), Israel (Tel Burna, Tell es-Safi, Gezer), Cyprus (Kourion, Nea-Paphos), and Egypt (Karnak). I enjoy reading, watching movies, cooking, listening to podcasts & audiobooks, tennis, and, more recently, frisbee golf.
