ABOUT ME

(Charles) I'm a 24-year-old journalist, I live in Nantes with my girlfriend. I'm easy going.
I love being a journalist because it enables me to meet new people who come from very different backgrounds and I love writing stories about them.

(Mady) I'm a 25-year-old High School English teacher. I enjoy working with teenagers, even though it's sometimes quite a challenge. I like to think of myself as a nice and generous person.

Mady:

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We'd like to try couch surfing, however our apartment is too small here in Nantes, so we can't host anyone yet.

None so far but eager to get one!

Charles:
I'm interested in both playing and watching any kinds of sports, but mostly ice hockey. I like meeting new people and discovering new places, speaking English. I love to have fun with my friends.

Mady:
I love racket ball, even though I'm not good at it. I love watching movies, sewing, cooking (and eating), reading, singing (mostly to myself). I love being able to speak English and travel where I've never been before. I'm very interested in how people live in other countries.

Mady:
Harry Potter, Lord of the rings, Back to the future and so many others...
I love reading different kinds of books, it depends on my mood!
I love every kind of music apart from Rap!

Egyptian pyramids, the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, dog sledding in Lapland, parachute jump, the Statue of liberty, my interview with Kelly Slater and his 10th world title in Puerto Rico...

Mady : I've spent one year in California as an exchange student when I was 18 in 2004/2005 and it was amazing.
