About Me

I am an open-minded, easygoing guy. I love the feeling on the road, making new friends and sharing their stories. Couchsurfing has changed me and my life . After a whole gap year trip in US, now I came back to San Francisco, working as a cancer immunotherapy scientist in a startup.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is these kindness from strangers, varieties, and delightful surprises that make the next moment of travel so much more unpredictable and exciting! I can not imagine it before if I am not on the road, especially if I am not in this website for couchsurfing!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So many amazing thins when I am on the road. To name a few.

I worked on a farm which planted Ginseng in middle Wisconsin for a week as a volunteer.

I rode along pacific coast from SF to LA with a guy who have ridden all over the world for 10 years. It cost me 15 days and enjoyed the beauty of California State Route 1. During the trip I stayed and met many strangers and shared their stories, which have changed me who worked in the biological lab for many years.

I, with a Canadian guy Frank, a German girl Lena and a Chilean girl Laura, we relocated a RV from San Francisco to Dallas during the Christmas for 9 days. We visited many national parks and I had so much fun with them.

I used megabus and travel 25 cities in 15 states in the Eastern USA(east of Mississippi River) with less than 100$. I met so many interesting people on the road. It's a experience I will never forget.

I rode my bicycle alone around 1000 miles and 1 month in Texas. Maybe the most special and beautiful part of Texas, The Hill Country in Texas welcomed me with spring wildflower blooms.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to travel cheap in US. Like how to use megabus to travel 25 cities for 2 months with less than 100$.

I can teach you how to modify the genome of every organism, as long as it uses DNA as the genetic material. Like how to make a transgenic monkey! Even design a bady!!(Just kidding).

My friends often say I am quite openminded and always happy and ready to learn anything new from other peoples.

I can share you my stories on the road. I have travelled across US for 3 times by train, RV, megabus, car and bicycle. I met so many interesting people on the road. The interacting and stories with them, which I can not imagine before if I am not on the road, are the best part of the trips.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I shared a small room in San Francisco. Now I am not able to host but hopefully I could do it pretty soon. I can meet and show you around and touch the soul of San Francisco. I can share the biking experiences along the pacific coast, traveling experiences in USA, hiking and camping in California and Massachusetts.
