I'm curious, outgoing, fun-loving, intuitive and resourceful. I enjoy meeting new people and experiencing new things - if i'm not changing, I'm dying.

I treat people how I would like to be treated, so I generally get along really well with people, especially travelers!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've only surfed before because I haven't been in the most steady of settings. But my enthusiasm and globetrotting has got my father hooked on CS! So he has been hosting people for a few years now, and he's made some good friends out of it.

I would love to host guests once I can accommodate them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's been great so far! Everyone I've met has been so amazing, interesting and super friendly. It's a really cool idea to hear about but it's even cooler once you get to experience it.

Interests

Traveling - obviously.. Gaining new perspectives. Meeting new people. Trying new foods.
Learning about and understanding other cultures & their quirks. It's interesting to see how mankind's similarities are expressed in different and diverse ways.

Among other things: Learning, listening to music, watching good movies/tv shows, hanging out and talking, playing soccer and other sports, hiking, good beer, dancing, staying out late and getting up early, and more!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm sure it's not too amazing with this crowd, but uprooting your life and traveling for months on end is a big deal in the US.

Also, circa 2010 - I climbed a volcano, roasted marshmallows in the lava, and then it erupted the next day.. A hurricane came shortly after basically turning everything into cement. Ended up stranded in a homestay in Lake Atitlan as the country dealt with the disaster. Quite the amazing experience!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to learn just about anything online for free. I've played and coached soccer my whole life and know a good amount about fitness.

I can share some basic guitar and/or ukulele skills to get you going, how to brew beer at home, some general life hacks.. I'm always happy to make travel recommendations, especially people wanting to visit the US of A.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My time, my food, my beer, my knowledge, my thoughts, maybe some clothing if you're the right size. Anything really, just ask! :D
