CURRENT MISSION

I've taken up living out of a sea kayak. Starting on July 13, 2016 I've paddled to Pittsford, NY 8/26/2016) I plan to paddle to Buffalo, NY then leapfrog to LKake Itaska, NY. Then I'll head south on the Mississippi River.

ABOUT ME

I am a gentle guy traveling on a budget. I like walking, riding a bicycle or paddling. In 2014to 2016 I completed a bike tour where I circumnavigated the lower 48 US states.

I love the outdoors. I like reading. I haven't collected much dust. I like meeting people along the way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did one couchsurf in 2014. I've done a few more in 2015. I've done a bunch of fair of warmshowers.org (which is similar to couchsurfing) stays and have excellent reviews. I have plenty of interesting stories to share.

I'm trying to help make the world a better place for us and future generations. I do this by living simply and by getting arrested for civil disobedience now and then.

Musica, film e libri

Non fiction adventure is my favorite read. Into the Wild, Everette Ruess: A Vagabond for Beauty, Blue Highways are 3 books I like very well. Lately, I listen to books while I'm walking, peddling or paddling. I like the movie Samsara. I like all kinds of music.
