I was born and raised in Chicago, lived in Texas for a few years, and I am currently living in Prague. I like traveling and learning new things.

I try not to let the little things bother me. Why worry about things that can't be changed? But that doesn't stop me from trying to make the world better, even if just a little.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Sailed for two weeks on an 18th century replica wooden sailing ship from France to Portugal.

Walked on the Camino de Santiago from Porto to Santiago. It was a great experience filled with pain, suffering, friendly faces, warm hearts, and fantastic sights. I want to go back :)

I grew up ice skating and competed at the national level in the United States; I played poker semi-professionally for a few years while I was at university; and I have been working as a programmer for the past several years.

I enjoy learning practical skills, history, and philosophy. A good example that belongs to all three categories is cooking; food is a great way to learn about a culture.
