ABOUT ME

I love good conversation, trying new things and thinking outside the box. I like to socialize in groups and I like deep, philosophical one-on-ones. I love nice things. However, I'm a minimalist (except that I own 4 houses but don't live in any of them). Two of my mottos: "Own nothing that you do not find useful or consider beautiful" and "Not wanting something is as good as having it". I love freedom.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted and had a great experience. Now I travel for work and have decided to live in hotels, in my truck and (as Scarlett O'Hara said)depend on the kindness of strangers!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was just introduced to Couch Surfing on June 19, 2011 when friends from church invited me to a Couch Surfing picnic. I met a lot of hip and cool people and look forward to giving this go!

I'm a bad violin player but I do it any way. I like to experiment with life and I love socializing and learning about people most of all. I like to play cards and games and I love the outdoors (camping, backpacking, kayaking, sailing, caving...you name it).

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I like the arts in general. Live plays, dance performance and music. I love classical music, blues, blue grass, southern rock, classic country and off the wall stuff like Leonard Cohen and Tom Waits. I like classical literature and poetry but I mostly read business stuff. Changing that soon.

My "area of expertise" is S/m (sales and marketing, people :P) and personal relationships (I was a personal Matchmaker for many years). I'm a pretty good go-to guy when you need to figure out how to make something happen in unconventional ways.
