About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To welcome travelers to my favourite town, Byron Bay.

ABOUT ME

Love reading, video, exercising, writing, meeting people from around the world.

PHILOSOPHY

The longer I live, the more I find that when people (including me) do good things, the good comes back to them, and vice versa. Call it karma if you like, or simply, "what goes around, comes around." This is true for spiritual matters as well as material.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Byron Bay is a popular spot and it's great to meet all the international people that come to love it. My house has twelve sides like a yurt and has an unusual and beautiful design. I think it reflects the creative spirit of Byron Bay.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing Mauna Loa in mid winter and watching the sun set over the crater. A bower bird who did a dance for me in Lamington National Park. A remote beach village on Naxos where a tiny restaurant served us fresh sardines. Watching the Grand Canyon appear as the clouds finally cleared.

Teach, Learn, Share

Everything there is to learn and enjoy about Byron Bay.

What I Can Share with Hosts

An unusual house in an unusual town. There's lots to do around Byron Bay, such as the lighthouse walk through the coastal rainforest, surfing the many beaches, diving at Julian Rocks, cafes along the main street, many clothing shops, great restaurants, and many festivals and events.
