This one is as hard for me as it is probably for everyone else too. But here:
My name is Charlotte and I am currently studying a masters in Kiel.
I like to learn and grow, that's probably why I spend most my time either bouldering or studying for university. Also I love to read but don't always manage to finish one book before starting the next one ..or two.. or three. When there's nothing else to do, I really like 'wasting' time, preferably wandering around aimelessly.
I am pretty relaxed and sometimes people mistake my beeing quiet as shyness. It's not. I can be bubbly and talkative too.. it all depends. As I believe a huge deal in kindness and love, my many faces are rarely mean or agressive, so don't worry..
And I like to bake and cook (beware though, I cook vegan. though I don't mind if you eat differently)
As I love "not man the less, but nature more", I try to do little harm to the world (-> lead a sustainable lifestyle)
and really regret not having become a forester, "throwing out a boomerang, waiting for it to come back to me"
-and if you know these quotes there's a pretty good chance we'll get along well :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to see new places but am always on a tight budget and would not be able to do so without the help of others, so I believe in 'paying it forward'. As I seem to have a traveler inside me who is always looking for the next possibility to go (anywhere), hosting strangers is also a lovely possibility to get new views and perspectives and maybe friends or just hellos and goodbyes in my life. I think it makes life better.

Interests

Current interest would be to get my climbing to a next level, see more of the world, meet people that have stories to tell, grow. long list of places to see. so many stories yet to hear. constant need to change/gain perspective. Learn turkish. Finish my masters and do something good with it :)

I really love books (novels) but mostly end up reading sociological/political/philosophical content.. so if you have suggestions on novels I'm all ears

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

backpacking Indonesia, Malaysia and Myanmar mostly via public transportation with my sister in 2014/2015 would be one of my favourite experiences - sunsets on top of pagodes, busy marketplaces, biking through the bagan area and such

sailing on a traditional sailing ship on the baltic sea - with tons of sun, wind and sleep deprivation :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm working on leading a sustainable lifestyle and am always keen on people giving me impulses and ideas on that. My bachelors in cultural science and theory really made me a succer for different perspectives on live.

I like to share recipies views, music, recipies (beware though: I eat vegan, have been for years and will not make exceptions. Although I will not preach or wrinkle my nose on whatever you choose to eat..)
Would love to learn to play the guitar.

But my favourite lessons are those least expected, and sometimes you just meet the right people..
