About Me
Hiya, I'm a 21 year old art student travelling around Japan for a month with my best-friend Arabella Turner.
We are both easy-going, bubbly, enthusiastic girls who are very interested in Japanese culture. I grew up in Hong Kong from when I was 2 years old to 9, then moved back to London, and have always had a love for this area of the world. I am an illustrator and my best-friend is a film-maker/writer, so we are both very excited to be inspired by the beautiful country. We've been saying we both wanted to go to Japan together since we were little, and finally it's happening.
I am really interested in anything environmental/sustainable, and I do this in my university degree.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We were recommended to use couch surfing by many friends.
I'm excited because it's a really good way get a much richer understanding of Japan, rather than just doing more obvious tourist things - as well as meeting cool people that we might not have met otherwise.
I also really really want to learn about cooking Japanese food, so this is the best place to do so.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went sky diving with my family one Sunday afternoon. While everyone else was normally having a Sunday lunch, we we're there jumping out of an airplane and parachuting down. It was amazing!
