ABOUT ME

I'm Charlotte :-) I also travel with my boyfriend Sky most of the time. We have lived in Bulgaria for 2 years and the Canary Islands for a year and a half. After our walking trip across Europe to raise money and to push our limits, we travelled and worked in Australia before moving back to the UK to work and study. I am currently in my summer break from University and will be in Argentina to volunteer and explore. I want to volunteer, see beautiful sites and meet as many people as possible.

We love to meet new people and to learn about different ways of life, but still have so much more to see in the world. So hopefully couchsurfing will help us get in contact with kind local people.

I am really interested in the Buddhist teachings but would love to learn about all different religions, faiths and spiritual beliefs.

I want my life to be about Adventure, learning, spiritual experiences, giving, love, fun encounters and laughter.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We haven't hosted anybody yet but CouchSurfing has really helped us out in the past. We recently walked across Europe starting in Bulgaria and moving towards Spain and we met some fantastic people all along the way thanks to Couch Surfing.

-Stood on top of a Mayan Temple in Palenque Jungle, Mexico.
-Travelled through Canyon Sumedero.
-Volunteering with homeless people and at refugee camps in Europe.
-Deep Sea fishing in Maldives.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a qualification in teaching English, I am also an artist and like to make hand crafted jewelry. I love to cook ethnic cuisines and to try out different recipes! :-)
I have a qualification in Event management and have done courses in Environmental Studies and 'The challenges of Global Poverty'
At the moment I am studying International Development as I want to have a career in aid or charity work. :-) I love to help others in any way I can, through teaching, sharing or giving a helping hand.
Love = food and nutrition.

Sky loves working with wood and has worked in property renovation for a few years now. He has also been an entrepreneur in the App Industry, creating gaming apps for android phones. He now works as project coordinator.

We are also both windsurf instructors so if we are by the sea and have the kit, would be happy to teach people!

Sky and I enjoy trying new things, learning and experiencing different activities like scuba diving, kayaking, paragliding and other air/water sports. I love learning different skills, from knitting a hat or playing the guitar... to riding a horse or knowing how to renovate a house. I love learning about the world and everyone in it!

We both would love to learn Salsa dancing! :-D Also, I am really eager to learn different languages. I would love to be fluent in Spanish.

What I Can Share with Hosts

It would be great to share experiences with new people and to create fun memories.

I would be happy to share my past travelling stories and give any advice on countries I have visited. I love hearing about different peoples adventures also. They are great inspiration for future dreams.

Also, once I have a permanent or long term home after travelling, I would be happy for Couchsurfers to come and stay with me. It would be amazing if a person who hosts me could come to my home and I could host them back!
