ABOUT ME

They would say that I am a very interesting person with a great sense of humor. I am a complete airhead sometimes but I am very kind and very interested in learning about people's lives. I am a professor/ musician and I am originally from Jamaica and have lived in the US for a long time. I enjoy chatting, performing, and love cats (although I don't have one yet). I live in Colorado for the moment and have been described as an extroverted introvert!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have changed since my first time on here. I now teach and am no longer a student and my reasons for being here have evolved. I don't have a place to host yet but I am really hoping to make friends wherever I go. I love the adventure of making new friends while embarking on an adventure of a new town. I have moved around alot and so it has been difficult to always make friends since I have moved so much. I am open

Interests

I am a vocalist and spend alot of my time in the practice room. I do some volunteer work as well and spend most of my other time reading and getting involved in the life of my friends. Singing was my hobby for a while. So looking for new ones. Hoping this site will help.

Music, Movies, and Books

Richard Wright, "Native Son" is probably one of my all time favorite books. Since I have started teaching, my reading has been largely academic and so I don't read for fun that much anymore. I love reading Shakespeare and am a sucker for a good romance novel. As for movies, I do love a good horror flick. "Anabelle" is a bad ass.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Mmmm...Tough...when I first sang at the age of nine...and 9/11...that was intense. I got to sing with my College Choir at the White house. That was really amazing.
