The community is awesome, to put it simply.

Straight away I have a friend (or friends) who can show me around and have a good time with, which is perfect because sometimes I travel alone.

Honestly I love knowing who I'm going to be staying with unlike a hostel, and instead of my travel money being spent on hotels, it can instead go towards homecooked meals, perhaps some drinks and if I'm lucky maybe amusement rides.
